WHY LIMIT your LIMITS?

Some of us will never be able to fly in the air like superman. We dont need to argue that. Its nearly impossible.
But I will argue till I drop dead to some of you who say, "I cannot eat with a fork and knife. I have to use my hands."  And i will not accept a person who says, "I cannot learn to speak well in English or French. I am not smart."

Why do we give up so easily when a million people(and kids) easily learn to speak French fluently. An average brain functioning person who puts in sufficient time and the effort will surely succeed.

The answer to this "giving up" has to be the role played by time and effort and fear. Some of us will never close a sale or innovate in our work unless we put in the time, effort and overcome the fear. What makes you stop to accept  that you have a limit on the ability to do whatever you want like creating something new or innovating or...

I mentor freshers at my college and office and my thinking gets me confused sometimes.
Should I push people to achieve something when they have been taught all their life not to push themselves beyond limits? Should I understand that its none of my business if people choose to accept what they have. Should I not feel disturbed if they have decided to forget their dreams? Should I intrude to help them achieve what matters to them.

Maybe my colleagues and students will not allow me to intrude or alter their horizons on limits.
But I believe that everyone of us is entitled to be creators...everyone has the right to innovate and pursue the evolution of his dreams and aspirations. Its not the birthright of a few to be leaders.

For those of you who are irritated or angry at my insistence to harass you to doing better...
and for those of who who hate my persistence in pushing you to your limits, I shall not apologise for believing in you.

I shall not stop pushing you to your limits, EVER. I believe that we should use our thoughts and abilities to create something special and ensure that we contribute everyday in some way for the world around us.

Remember, To do anything less than the BEST is a crime.
